Energy and structural requalification project – Via Ivrea e Carema Torino

Energy and structural requalification project of two public housing buildings from the 1970s located in via Ivrea in the north of the city of Turin. The buildings with 10 floors above ground each are characterized by a succession of projecting stairwells, 7 for the first building and 4 for the second, by a traditional reinforced concrete structure and hollow-box infills, with insulated cavities according to the standards of the time of construction.
The redevelopment involves the renovation of the facades through the use of new colors emphasizing the walls of the stairwells with a dark color painting and with a light color of the walls of the accommodation in which portions of the building with ventilated facade and stoneware cladding alternate the coat system.
